Cat Clapping, explained

What is a cat clapping meme?

A cat clapping meme turns a cat into a tiny, expressive performer. The familiar joke is an upright cat with human-like paws applauding with far too much confidence. This Cat Clapping video generator is designed for your own cat photos, with a cat-only mode and a person + cat mode.

How many photos do I need? Do I need a prompt?

Person + cat needs exactly two photos: one person and one cat. Cat only needs one cat photo. Choose the mode here on the same page; you do not need to write a prompt or upload a video. Photos stay available as a local draft when your browser can store them.

Which photos work best for AI cat clapping?

For AI cat clapping, use a sharp JPG, PNG or WebP under 5 MB per image. Show one cat with its head, body and paws visible, facing the camera. For the person, use a clear face in even light. Avoid group shots, heavy filters and cropped paws. Two images together must stay under 10 MB.

Can AI cat clapping copy every move in the viral video?

AI cat clapping creates a short cat-clapping moment. The longer meme may include a treat, shushing and a handshake, but those sequences are not a promised output here. AI can change faces, fur markings, paws and movement.

What can I download? Is there a transparent GIF?

Every Cat Clapping video is a 720p MP4 with sound: 10 seconds for person + cat, or 6 seconds for cat only. The generator shows the duration before you start. GIF export, transparent cutouts and green-screen output are not included. Framing may vary.

What resolution are the videos?

All videos are generated in 720p, in both Person + cat and Cat only modes. Your finished video is delivered as an MP4 with sound.

Does my clapping cat video include sound?

Yes. Videos you create include AI-generated clapping sounds. Person + cat also includes a short “shhh”. Sound and timing can vary. Background music is not included.

How do credits work? What do I get when I sign up?

New accounts get 100 welcome credits. Cat-only videos use 150 credits and person + cat videos use 300, both in 720p. The welcome credits count toward your first video but do not cover a full generation. One-time packs cost US$6.99 for 300 credits, US$9.90 for 800 or US$24.90 for 2,100. Purchased credits are valid for 365 days. There is no subscription.

What happens if generation fails or the status is unclear?

A confirmed failed generation returns its credits once. If submission is unconfirmed, do not start a replacement: check the same task or contact support. If the video was created but is still saving, only saving is retried, without another generation charge.

Can I request a cash refund?

For a cash refund, contact support@catclapping.app with your order number and a short explanation. Our support team handles each request case by case. Credit returns are separate from cash refunds. Approved refunds normally go to the original payment method and remove the associated credits. See the Terms for details.

How long does it take? Can I leave the page?

Your video is usually ready to watch in about 4–5 minutes. Times can vary. Once your task appears in My videos, you can leave and return with the same account. You can check the elapsed time there. If a submission needs checking, contact support before trying again.

Where are my finished cat clapping videos?

Sign in and open My videos to see your latest 20 tasks from both modes. A finished video is saved privately and has playback and download controls. Links are temporary, normally about one hour; during the 30-day file-retention period, reopen the task or refresh playback to renew them without another generation. Videos are deleted automatically after that period, usually within 24 hours of expiry. Download the videos you want to keep.

Can I use someone else’s photo or a different pet?

To make a clapping cat meme, use your own cat and photos of yourself or a person who has agreed to appear. This tool is designed for cats. Do not use photos to impersonate or harass someone.

Are my photos and videos public?

Your selected photos are previewed in your browser. When you submit, the photos are uploaded to private storage and passed to the generation service to make your video. Task access is restricted to your account, and media uses temporary links. Your uploads are not automatically added to a public gallery. Original uploaded images and generated videos are retained for 30 days from when each file is stored. Files are deleted automatically after that period, usually within 24 hours of expiry. Download videos you want to keep; deleted files cannot be restored by refreshing a link.
