Cat Clapping Privacy Policy

How Cat Clapping handles account information, photo inputs and private video results.

Last updated: 2026-10-15

This policy applies to catclapping.app.

Your account and photos

Cat Clapping uses account information such as your name, email address and session to provide sign-in, credit balances and access to your video tasks. Payment processors handle payment details; we do not store full card numbers.

Photos you select are previewed in your browser. Where browser storage permits, a draft stays in the current tab's session storage so you can return from sign-in. Removing a photo clears it from the current draft. A browser draft is not a submitted generation.

When you create a video

Submitting a task sends the selected photos to Cat Clapping. Person + cat mode uses one person photo and one cat photo. Cat-only mode uses one cat photo. Input images and generated results are stored in private object storage. The generation provider receives the photo inputs and instructions needed to create the video.

Task records include the selected mode, status, credit consumption and storage references. Access to task records is restricted to the owning account. Playback and download use temporary signed links. Anyone who receives a signed link can access its media until the link expires, so share it with care.

Your uploads are not automatically published in a gallery. We do not sell your photos or use them as a public testimonial without permission.

Service providers and security

We use service providers for authentication, payment processing, video generation and private storage. Data may be processed in the locations where those providers operate. Requests use transport encryption and account access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and preferences

Authentication cookies keep you signed in. Language and theme preferences may be stored in your browser. Optional analytics or advertising features, if enabled, are governed by the site's cookie settings.

File retention

Original uploaded images and generated videos are retained for 30 days from when each file is stored. Files are deleted automatically after that period, usually within 24 hours of expiry. Download videos you want to keep; deleted files cannot be restored by refreshing a link.

Access, deletion and support

You can review account information and your latest video tasks in your account. For a data-access or deletion request, email support@catclapping.app or use Support tickets. We may need to verify account ownership before acting on a request.

Do not rely on this service as the only copy of your files. Download results you want to keep. For questions about stored files or deletion, contact support@catclapping.app.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected in the revision date and, when appropriate, a service notice.
